Application: First-time and returning applicants

This application form is for first-time and returning applicants, not for participants from the 2018/2019 school year. 2018/2019 project participants should use the application form on the ProjectCommunity site (My school > online forms).

Please note:

  • Asterisks (*) indicate required information.
  • Please complete the form carefully and do not use any abbreviations. A few keywords are enough.
  • Please keep in mind that this is not a project registration form, but a project application form. You will be notified by April at the latest as to whether your application has been accepted.
  • If you do not receive confirmation of receipt at the e-mail address you gave us, we have not received your application.

School information

Project leader teacher information

(Please note: If the project leader teacher has not been chosen, please name a contact person for the project.)

(Please provide only one address, and make sure it is spelled correctly; confirmation of application receipt and the project office's decision will be sent to this address.)

(including afternoons)

(for project use only)

Additional school information and reasons for participation

(Please note: We recommend that several teachers support the project, at least temporarily, e.g., to teach the different types of content. One teacher should function as project leader.)

(Please note: 3 teams minimum (with 4—6 students per team). Please encourage only those students to participate who are highly motivated and willing to invest the amount of time and work necessary (no "stopgap candidates," please, especially younger ones). Please state a realistic number of participants. This will not influence whether your school is chosen to participate. If you would like to participate with fewer or more students, please state your reason under "In which form ... ". Competition is an important part of the project. If you can reach the minimum number of participants only with a partner school, please note this under "Other qualifications." Your partner school must also apply.

(Please note: In order to keep the project at your school as long as possible, we recommend that teams be composed of students who are all in the same class. Each student may participate only once.)

Different conditions in different places

(Please note: We recommend that you require students to commit bindingly to project participation. Participating students and teachers must meet at least once a week even if the project is scheduled after school.)
