Even before the results of the first PISA study were published, the idea behind business@school was to get better instruction about business into schools in order to prepare students effectively for life after graduation.

business@school builds a bridge between school and business, giving students the opportunity to experience for themselves how business works. In the process, they acquire soft skills and discover their entrepreneurial spirit.

The Advisory Board guides and continuously develops the educational initiative together with participating teachers and coaches. Together, the members of the Advisory Board bring decades of experience from different industries to business@school.

Volunteer coaches from a wide range of industries support business@school teams at schools over the course of one school year with their experience and knowledge.
